I was born in Russia (Soviet Union) in St. Petersburg (Leningrad). I grew up in this fantastic city. I studied, worked, loved and started my family there.

Now I live in the US. My daughter turned out to be fine young lady and soon, in the Spring 2010, she is going to graduate from Veterinary School. I am still with my love of my young days – my husband. We now grow old together. But when we look each other into eyes we see 25 years old people. We are blessed.

I knit, spin and design. Sometimes, when I manage to overcome my aversion to writing, I publish my designs.

This is my place to talk about knitting, spinning and life in general.

Thank you for visiting!

    Thank you, Andrea!
I hope one day Pitsilised Koekirjad will be available!
It would be a shame to let it be forgotten.

  3. Dear Faina,
Thank you so much for your comment and the information that you left on my blog. It didn’t have an email address included, but I really wanted to let you know how much I support your efforts in trying to get Pitsilised Koekirjad re-published. I am sure that your efforts and the obvious interest American knitters have in Estonian technique encouraged the new (and lovely) book. I hope that one day Pitsilised Koekirjad will be available again!
